Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: September 2025

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all services provided by Autorevive Motors (“we”, “our”, “us”). By booking our services, you (“customer”, “you”, “your”) agree to these Terms.

1. Services Provided

Autorevive Motors provides:

  • Collection & delivery of vehicles for MOT testing.

  • Pre-MOT health checks.

  • Minor maintenance (e.g., bulbs, wipers, fluid top-ups).

  • Optional add-on services (e.g., wash, vacuum, interim servicing).

We work in partnership with a licensed MOT testing station for the official MOT test.

2. Bookings

  • Bookings can be made via phone, email, WhatsApp, or online booking form.

  • You must provide accurate details (name, address, vehicle registration, contact information).

  • Bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.

3. Collection & Delivery

  • Vehicles must have valid road tax and insurance unless agreed otherwise (trade plates may be used in certain circumstances).

  • The vehicle must be roadworthy and safe to drive. We reserve the right to refuse collection if a vehicle is unsafe or illegal to drive.

  • Customers must ensure we are provided with the correct keys and access at the arranged collection time.

4. MOT Test Responsibility

  • The MOT test is conducted by a licensed MOT test station. Autorevive Motors is not responsible for the outcome of the MOT test or for any pass/fail decisions.

  • In case of a failed MOT, we can assist in arranging repairs, but additional charges may apply.

  • If your vehicle fails, you are responsible for paying any retest fees charged by the MOT station.

5. Pre-MOT Checks & Repairs

  • Our pre-checks are designed to reduce the risk of MOT failure but do not guarantee a pass.

  • Minor repairs (e.g., bulbs, wipers, top-ups) will only be carried out if authorised by the customer.

  • Larger repairs will require customer approval before any work is done.

6. Fees & Payment

  • Prices are listed on our website and may vary by service package.

  • MOT fees are included in package prices unless otherwise stated.

  • Payment must be made in full before or upon return of the vehicle.

  • Accepted payment methods: cash, bank transfer, or secure card payments.

7. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellations made more than 24 hours before collection: no charge.

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before collection: 50% of service fee may be charged.

  • No-shows (vehicle unavailable at agreed time): full service fee charged.

8. Liability & Insurance

  • We hold full motor trade insurance to cover vehicles while in our care, custody, or control.

  • We are not liable for:

    • Pre-existing faults, damage, or wear.

    • MOT failure or advisories issued by the MOT station.

    • Delays caused by traffic, weather, or circumstances beyond our control.

  • Customers are responsible for ensuring their vehicle has valid road tax and (where required) insurance.

9. Customer Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate vehicle and contact details.

  • Remove personal belongings and valuables from the vehicle.

  • Ensure fuel levels are sufficient for collection, delivery, and MOT test.

10. Complaints & Disputes

  • If you are dissatisfied with our service, please contact us immediately so we can resolve the issue.

  • Complaints relating to MOT pass/fail outcomes must be directed to the MOT testing station or DVSA.

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales.
